Complexity isn't the problem. Clarity is.
At the start of a recent prospect meeting, we played our 60-second reel.
When it finished, the client turned to us and said:
“I get exactly what you do from this video and that’s the problem I have. I struggle to explain what we do.”
That sentence stuck with me. Because that’s the real problem.
Most founders and product teams don’t struggle with building. They struggle with articulating. They know their product inside out, but translating complexity into clarity is hard. Especially when you’re deep in it.
This is where product films matter. Not as decoration. Not as hype.
A good product film distils months, sometimes years, of thinking into something that can be understood in 60–90 seconds. It aligns internal teams, gives sales language and empowers brand consistency, removes friction in investor conversations and makes onboarding easier. It builds confidence.
In our initial meetings, we don’t tend to talk too much about ourselves. We come with an outsider's perspective. We show the work, then we listen. Because what people say in that first hour usually tells us everything we need to know.
When someone tells us they struggle to explain what they do, that’s not a red flag. That’s the starting point.
